Paintings

Tabitha was taught painting, in particular with a focus on oil painting while at Central Saint Martins (UCL). The last few years Tabitha has been focused on print making and pottery, but recently turned back to oil painting to explore some portrait work. Tabitha also created a series of rubbings from her household living room wall, a ‘diptych’ for her final Fine Art Diploma show while at UCL (2010). Tabitha sees paintings and colour as not just painting an image on a canvas, but painting in terms of mixing colours, glazing, print making - which extends through to her pottery, her video animations which though initially frozen, slowly become fluid - as well as other types of paintwork Tabitha pursues.
